Classes

Registration will take place at the Brookings Arts Council, or by mail-in form. Class fees are collected at the time of registration. Discounts are applied to those who have Brookings Arts Council memberships of $50 and above. Early registration is encouraged as class sizes are limited.

Appropriate Dress

Dressing appropriately is important for class participants. Creating art can get messy.

Location

All classes are at the Brookings Arts Council, unless stated on the registration form.

Refund Policy

If a class is canceled, the BAC will issue a full refund. A full refund will also be granted if the attendee cancels seven (7) days before the class begins. If the attendee cancels within two (2) days of the class starting, half of a refund is offered. The day of class, no refund will be offered.

The BAC reserves the right to decline any refund requests. There are no class credits if you fail to show, as the BAC must purchase supplies and incur other expenses in conjunction with your enrollment in the class.

Animation Camp: Monday - Thursday, July 9-12, 9 am - 4pm (breaks and 30 minutes for lunch - bring your own) Ages 11 to 17 (Familiarity with computer operating systems and Mac a plus!) $225 (all 4 days) $125 (first 2 days). Class will be held at Grove Hall at SDSU.
 
Beginning Knitting: Saturdays: June 2, 9, 23 & 30 (no class June 16)  1-2:30 pm$25 Ages 10 and up
         

Batik Fabric: Tuesdays: June 5, 12 & 19 - 1 to 3 pm $15 Ages 10 and up


Clay Pot Building: Monday, June 25 OR Tuesday, June 26 OR Wednesday, June 27 1-3 pm $12.50 Ages 10 and up


Button Rings: Thursday, June 7, 6:30 - 8 pm, $15 Ages 10 and up


Color My World: Saturday, July 21, 10 am - Noon & 1 - 4 pm (1 hour for lunch) $10 Ages 10 and up

Raku Pottery: Saturday, August 11 9:30 - Noon OR 1-3:30 pm $15 All ages welcome, children under 11 MUST have an adult accompany them during class.
